[Delavan, WI] – The Delavan-Darien School District (DDSD) is excited to announce the appointment of Jaymee Thompson as the new Teaching & Learning Director, effective July 1, 2024. Thompson brings over a decade of experience in K-12 public education, serving as both an educator and a school leader.
Thompson's career began in the School District of Beloit, where she taught middle school math from 2012 to 2016. Her exemplary performance and dedication to education earned her the role of Academy Principal in the same district, a position she has held since 2016. Her extensive licensure includes certifications as an elementary teacher, principal, curriculum director, and superintendent, underscoring her comprehensive expertise in the field of education.
"I am thrilled to join the Delavan-Darien School District as the new Teaching & Learning Director," said Thompson. "I am passionate about teaching and learning and look forward to applying my experience to support our students and staff.
