Phoenix Middle School Orchestra students in 5th & 6th grade participated in the American String Teachers Association Wisconsin Young Artists Honor Orchestra event held at Mukwonago Area High School on February 10th. The students practiced and prepared music weeks in advance, then on the event date, rehearsed with top young string players from around the state. The students worked with leading instructors and directors as well as college students studying to be Orchestra teachers. At the end of their full day of sectionals and Orchestra rehearsals, they performed a concert for their friends and family.
