Phoenix Middle School (5-8)

We are delighted to share the news that our very own 7th grade student, Alexis Lee was chosen as the middle school student 1st place essay winner for the WIABE Essay Contest (Wisconsin Association for Bilingual Education). Alexis' essay was chosen as the best essay out of several essays submitted from across our state. This year's Theme: United Through Language and Culture, Unidos a Través Del Lenguaje Y La Cultura. Her essay was written in her 2nd language - Spanish. Alexis will receive an award at the WIABE Conference Luncheon on April 20th where she will also read her essay in both Spanish and English. Congratulations Alexis, we are so proud of you! ¡Felicidades!
