Darien Elementary School is part of the Delavan-Darien School District and is located in the Village of Darien, a quaint farming community about 4 miles southeast of Delavan. Darien Elementary has approximately 230 students in grades 3 and 4. Students continue their learning in either the monolingual (English only) or Dual Language (Spanish and English) Program and engage in critical thinking and problem solving as well as participating in daily ‘special’ classes rotation including art, computers, library, music and physical education. In addition to our focus on high academic and social behavior standards, we are also very committed to providing a safe and positive learning environment for your children at DES. Our highly dedicated staff is committed to meeting the individual needs of all students. In order for us to do that, we encourage you to be an active participant in the education of your child. We invite and encourage students and parents to work with us to help create a positive and productive environment for our children.
