DDSD is proud to announce the appointment of Mark Kibler as the new head coach for the Comets football team. With an impressive track record and a passion for shaping young athletes, Coach Kibler brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school community. Coach Kibler is a 2006 DDHS alum, who comes to us with years of coaching experience and a love for football. He previously coached for the Comets football team from 2012-2017. His dedication to excellence, coupled with his ability to inspire and motivate players, makes him the ideal leader to guide our student-athletes to success both on and off the field.
"It's always been a dream of mine to be a head football coach, but to be the head coach of this program, it is surreal and I am extremely humbled. I am honored to join the Comet Nation family and lead the football program to new heights," said Coach Kibler. "I believe in creating a culture of excellence where student-athletes can reach their full potential, both on the field and in the classroom. I am excited to work alongside our dedicated coaching staff and talented student-athletes to achieve success. Together, we will strive for excellence in every aspect of the game and continue to make our school community proud."
