April 6th DDHS Choir Concert Cancelled
The Delavan-Darien High School choir concert scheduled for April 6th is cancelled due to Covid-19. The DDHS choirs hope to share their music with you at their May Pops concert. Please stay tuned for more updates. Stay home, stay strong, and stay healthy!
PROM 2020 (April 4) Postponed Indefinitely
Please be advised that due to the state shutdown of all public & private schools that the DDHS Prom, scheduled for 4/4/2020, has been postponed indefinitely at this time.
Per the state mandate all school in the Delavan-Darien School District are closed from March 16 to April 6. Please check our website and social media (Facebook & Twitter) for updates.

Business students at DDHS were busy today experiencing the new business media room at DDHS. Business students had the opportunity to come up with current topics and even record Podcasts.

The DDHS Student Council is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 8 AM until 1 PM at the high school. Please contact Ms. Sydne Guillien, Student Council Advisor, at sguillien@ddschools.org or at 262-233-6683 to sign-up for an appointment.
DDHS celebrated Winter Week with several festivities, including Twins Day (pictured are senior Andrew O'Neil & social studies intern teacher, Mr. Browning). We will celebrate with an assembly this afternoon and Sadie's Dance on 2/8 from 8-11 PM.
DDHS 10th-12th grade students are offered the opportunity to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on Feb. 11, 2020. Sign-up for this exam before 2/7/20 in Student Services. This test is offered free of charge and is highly supported by administration.

DDHS Hoops 4 Hunger - Attend the DDHS Boys' Basketball Game on February 11, 2020 and bring in non-perishable food items (students require 2 or more, adults 3 or more) to get in free & earn a ticket for our gift card raffle, which will occur at halftime that evening.
DDHS Prom Dress Drive - Support our students by donating new or gently used formal dresses for PROM. All sizes are welcome and can be dropped off at DDHS anytime (8 AM - 3 PM) from now until 3/6/2020. Please only donate dresses that are in style & clean.
DDHS had 3 seniors get admitted to UW-Rock County & 13 seniors get admitted to UW-Whitewater on January 28 when our counselors invited those schools to come in and support our students! We have several more students that will be taking advantage of future opportunities.

Incoming 8th Grade Information: Jan. 30 & 31 (7:30 AM - noon) DDHS Counselors will present to the entire Phoenix Middle School 8th grade class showcasing the different courses, sports, clubs and activities at DDHS!
DDHS students had the opportunity to participate in an outstanding cyber safety presentation by Sergeant Tom Rich who is from New Jersey.
DDHS is proud to share that nine students have completed all three Hospitality courses & the Guest Service Gold exam to receive the Hospitality Essentials Certificate from Gateway Technical College. DDHS is the only high school to offer a certified instructor for the program.
DDHS Won the 2nd Annual Hunt Off Hunger Food Drive Campaign sponsored by the Walworth County Conservation Wardens. This is the second consecutive year that DDHS has won the food drive by donating 1500 pounds of food to our St. Andrews Food Pantry right here in Delavan.
Join us in the DDHS Auditorium at 7 PM this evening for our Annual Holiday Choir Concert. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items, as well, to support our Hunt Off Hunger Food Drive.
